WFP World Water Classic 6k run or walk
Step into the World Water Classic 6k 🚶♀️🏃♂️
Join Water For People Canada for our 6k walk or run. The World Water Classic supports Water For People’s work to end walking for water. Women and girls specifically are responsible for water collection in 8 out of 10 households without water on site. Collectively around the world, women and girls spend 200 million hours each day gathering water.
6 km is the average distance many women and girls in Sub-Saharan Africa walk each day to collect water for their families. That’s why Water For People created the World Water Classic– a way for you to join in from anywhere to help change this reality.
