The MEDC promotes American Water Works Association membership across all areas and interests associated with the water industry, and to promotes continued membership among the present members.
The Water For People committee seeks to raise awareness among the membership about Water For People through various activities, such as Presentations, sponsored events, as well as taking part in fundraising, networking and awareness campaigns at WCS AWWA events.
Young Professionals committee develops programs of interest to young professionals (YPs) in the water and wastewater industry. The committee promotes the benefits of membership in AWWA by increasing opportunities for participation, career development and to identifing younger industry members who can be encouraged to take an active leadership role in the association.
